PM Mohammed Al-Sudani Congratulates Lebanon on Formation of New Government

Baghdad, Iraq- Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani congratulated the President of the Lebanese Republic, Mr. Joseph Aoun, and Lebanese Prime Minister, Mr. Nawaf Salam, on the successful formation of Lebanon’s new government. In two congratulatory cables, Prime Minister Al-Sudani conveyed heartfelt congratulations to the Lebanese government and people on behalf of the Iraqi government, expressing hope that this milestone would usher in a new era of stability and security for Lebanon.

Reaffirming the strong bonds of brotherhood between Iraq and Lebanon, Al-Sudani emphasized Iraq’s continued commitment to supporting Lebanon in its efforts to overcome challenges, facilitate reconstruction, and promote progress. He further expressed Iraq’s solidarity with Lebanon, recognizing its significant role in fostering development and economic integration within the region.
