President Rashid Emphasizes Iraq’s Commitment to Strengthening Ties with Kuwait

Baghdad, Iraq- On Monday, President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid expressed Iraq’s strong commitment to developing and enhancing its relationship with Kuwait.

In a statement issued by the media office of the President, it was noted that President Rashid met with the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Iraq, Hassan Muhammad Al-Zaman, in Baghdad. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

President Rashid emphasized Iraq’s dedication to advancing these ties, particularly in expanding economic cooperation, while highlighting the numerous investment opportunities available in Iraq. He also stressed the importance of increased international efforts to promote security and stability both regionally and globally.

Ambassador Al-Zaman reiterated the historical depth of relations between Iraq and Kuwait, underscoring Kuwait’s determination to broaden the scope of bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
