Iraq’s Ministry of Justice Oversees Legal Release of 793 Inmates.

The Ministry of Justice confirmed the legal release of inmates from several prisons across Iraq during March. Authorities released 793 individuals after they completed their legal sentences based on Iraqi law.

The ministry explained that 683 men and 110 women left prison during this period. Each release followed a thorough legal and administrative process. Officials reviewed the inmates’ files to ensure proper compliance with the law. Moreover, the ministry emphasized that these steps reflect a strong commitment to justice and transparency. It described the process as orderly, accurate, and timely. As a result, no inmate faced unnecessary delays once their sentence ended.

In addition, the Ministry of Justice continues to improve its internal procedures. It cooperates with courts and legal bodies to speed up inmate processing. This coordination supports fair treatment for all detainees. The ministry also pointed out that this legal release of inmates helps build public trust. Citizens expect fairness and clear legal practices from institutions. Therefore, the government must act consistently and responsibly in handling prisoner affairs.

Officials inside the ministry stressed the importance of accurate records. They monitor each inmate’s sentence from start to finish. Because of this diligence, prison systems run more efficiently, and inmates receive their legal rights.Furthermore, the ministry works on updating its digital systems. These updates will reduce human error and improve communication between prison staff and legal teams. Better systems will help prevent future delays or mistakes.Ultimately, the legal release of inmates forms a core part of the justice system’s role. It shows respect for the rule of law and supports rehabilitation efforts. With these releases, the Ministry of Justice demonstrates its dedication to legal fairness, accountability, and ongoing reform.
