Iraqi Students Win Bronze at Arab Math Olympiad

Iraqi gifted students have earned a bronze medal at the Fourth Arab Mathematics Olympiad held in Qatar, the Ministry of Education announced Monday.

Competing against teams from across the Arab world, the four-member Iraqi team secured third place, demonstrating their mathematical prowess. The ministry, in a statement, noted that this was the team’s first participation in the five-day competition, with the judging panel commending their performance and scientific competence.

The Minister of Education extended congratulations to the team, their families, and the school administration for nurturing and developing the students’ talents. The team was accompanied by Saadi Muhammed Saadi, head of scientific affairs at the Gifted Care Committee, and Muhammed Ali Dawood, head of the mathematics department at the committee.
