Fish Lake Clearance Operations Continue Strongly in Babylon

Fish lake clearance operations continue strongly in Babylon as local authorities press ahead with their removal plans. The Directorate of Water Resources in Babylon confirmed that no delays will interrupt the current schedule. Officials stressed that the entire operation will conclude within the next 20 days.

Director of Water Resources in Babylon, Muthanna Al-Wutaifi, emphasized that the clearance efforts follow a strict plan. He stated that there are no exceptions allowed by either the directorate or the Ministry of Water Resources. Consequently, every illegal fish lake must be cleared without compromise.

Fish lake clearance operations continue strongly in Babylon thanks to the collaboration between technical teams and security forces. Crews are working around the clock to empty unauthorized fish lakes. Additionally, they strictly follow the timeline established by the ministry to ensure full compliance.

Al-Wutaifi highlighted that the technical teams deployed heavy equipment to speed up the process. Meanwhile, security units are providing essential support to protect workers and prevent any obstruction. Officials expressed confidence that the fish lake clearance operations will successfully restore the natural flow of water bodies.

Moreover, authorities clarified that removing illegal fish lakes will boost water distribution efficiency. Farmers relying on irrigation will soon see significant improvements in water availability. By following this plan, the Water Resources Directorate hopes to protect both agricultural lands and drinking water sources.

Fish lake clearance operations continue strongly in Babylon as part of a broader water conservation strategy. Officials pointed out that unauthorized fish farms severely disrupt the water balance in many regions. They also warned that unlicensed activities will no longer be tolerated under any circumstances.

Finally, the Directorate urged all residents to cooperate with field teams. They reminded the public that preserving water resources benefits the entire community. Ongoing efforts show the government’s serious commitment to enforcing water management laws and securing the future of vital resources.
