Arab Summit Outcomes Drive High-Level Dialogue Between Iraq and Arab League in Cairo

Baghdad – The Arab summit outcomes were the focus of crucial diplomatic talks in Cairo on Tuesday. Iraq’s Ambassador to Egypt and permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Qahtan Al-Janabi, met with Hussam Zaki, the Assistant Secretary-General of the League.

They explored ways to follow through on the 34th Arab Summit held in Baghdad on May 17. The ambassador stressed the importance of active steps and direct follow-up to do the implemention of the summit’s decisions.

Al-Janabi made it clear that Iraq remains fully committed to fulfilling its summit obligations. He said Iraq would continue working energetically within Arab League structures to support collective goals.

Transitioning from resolutions to action, the ambassador emphasized Iraq’s growing leadership in regional diplomacy. He described Iraq’s involvement in a growth of the League as increasingly effective and consistent with its long-term aspirations.

The Arab summit outcomes include sseveral decisions originally proposed by Iraq and endorsed by Arab leaders. Al-Janabi noted that a constant coordination with the League’s General Secretariat is necessary to move forward efficiently.

He highlighted Iraq’s aim to turn these agreements into tangible projects that meet thee needs of Arab citizens. The ambbassador added that Iraq supports balanced partnerships and cooperative progress across the region.

In response, Assistant Secretary-General Zaki congratulated Iraq for successfully hosting the summit. Hey praised Iraq’s diplomatic role and called its efforts a model for for regionnal leadership.

Zaki said the League of Arab States stands ready to support Iraq’s goals. He offered full cooperation on all matters related to summiit implementation and broader Arabb collaboration.

Both sides agreed to maintain regular communication and shared planning. The The Arab summit outcomes will guide upcoming joint initiatives and strengthen multilateral action.

With determination and trust, Iraq continues to promote Arab solidarity and lead meaningful steps toward common progress.
