The Green Project Expands Tree Planting in Maysan

In a strong step toward environmental protection, The Green Project launched a new campaign in Maysan. The initiative plans to plant 1,000 trees across newly developed neighborhoods and school buildings. This effort aims to increase green spaces and fight climate change in the region.

The Supreme Youth Council in Maysan leads this ambitious movement. According to campaign coordinator Ahmed Jawda, the spring planting drive began in multiple locations. These include residential areas and newly built educational institutions.

The campaign reflects the growing concern over climate change. Therefore, organizers designed it to boost natural cover and lower pollution levels. Their clear goal is to improve the quality of life through greener spaces.

Jawda confirmed that the campaign targets public and residential areas across Maysan. He also explained that the local Parks and Gardens Department helped choose the planting locations. This cooperation ensures that trees will grow in the most beneficial areas.

Volunteers and state institutions have joined the effort. Their participation has strengthened community involvement and increased the campaign’s reach. In addition, many young people have shown great interest in planting and environmental care.

Moreover, The Green Project focuses on sustainability. The team selected shade-giving, evergreen trees for long-term impact. These trees will provide beauty, reduce temperatures, and create healthier urban environments.

The campaign does more than plant trees. It also promotes awareness about environmental issues. Organizers created educational content to teach citizens about the importance of greenery. They want people to understand how trees help clean air and improve daily life.

Through teamwork and dedication, The Green Project builds a stronger connection between the community and the environment. Every planted tree brings Maysan closer to a greener, cleaner future. This campaign proves that small steps can lead to big environmental change.
