‘Awlad Jaber’ and ‘Yaqout’ Premiere Delayed to Second Half of Ramadan

In a recent decision, Iraqi Channel adjusted its Ramadan drama schedule. The goal was to provide the best possible viewing experience. The change ensures that all programs fit smoothly into the daily lineup. As a result, the airing of ‘Awlad Jaber’ and ‘Yaqout’ was postponed to the second half of Ramadan. Both series will now premiere on the sixteenth day of the holy month.

The revised schedule places ‘Yaqout’ at 7:00 PM, immediately after the conclusion of ‘Al-Naqeeb.’ Meanwhile, ‘Awlad Jaber’ will air at 7:30 PM, following ‘Dar Al-Mansiyeen.’ This adjustment was made to accommodate other popular Ramadan programs.

Awlad Jaber’ is among the standout productions of the season. The series, supported by the Prime Minister’s drama grant, tells a gripping social story. It focuses on intense family conflicts among siblings. The drama features a talented cast, including Ghanem Hameed, Ghalib Jawad, Ameera Jawad, Jalal Kamel, Nazem Zahe, Adel Abbas, Shorouq Al-Hassan, and Rokyan Al-Wadi. The series was written by Maher Majeed and directed by Shadi Sameer.

‘Yaqout’ is another highly anticipated series. Written by Banaa Naeem Rizq and directed by Ali Abu Saif, it presents a compelling narrative. The cast includes Sami Qaftan, Sinan Al-Azzawi, Solaf Jalil, Kareem Mohsen, Maytham Saleh, Hussein Ajaj, and Kady Al-Qaisi.

This scheduling change aims to enhance the viewing experience for audiences. With a carefully structured lineup, viewers can enjoy their favorite Ramadan dramas without overlap. The Iraqi Channel remains committed to delivering engaging content throughout the holy month.

Fans can now look forward to the premiere of ‘Awlad Jaber’ and ‘Yaqout’ on the sixteenth of Ramadan. These two dramas promise captivating performances and unforgettable storytelling. The wait will be worth it.
