Disbursement of Fifth Pension Salary Batch for Iraqi Army Veterans Before Eid al-Fitr

Baghdad, Iraq- The Prime Minister’s Media Office recently shared an important update regarding the pension salaries for former Iraqi Army personnel. According to the statement, the fifth batch of pension salaries will be disbursed before Eid al-Fitr. Following that, the sixth batch will be completed immediately after the holiday. This is a crucial step in ensuring the final closure of the pension files for these veterans.

In the same statement, the Prime Minister’s Media Office addressed the financial adjustments for security force members who were injured in the line of duty. The government is taking action to ensure these injured personnel receive the appropriate financial support.

To further improve the pension disbursement process, the government has formed a special committee to finalize pension procedures for the remaining prisoners of war (POWs) from the 1991 war. This committee will work efficiently to address any pending pension issues related to these individuals.

Moreover, the government has taken proactive steps to resolve pension issues for the victims of terrorism. A joint committee has been deployed to Anbar Governorate. This team is working closely with the National Pension Authority and the Martyrs’ Foundation to ensure that the pension cases of terrorism victims are handled promptly. The committee is focusing on verifying and disbursing any outstanding payments for eligible pensioners in Anbar.

This effort to resolve pension issues for both security forces and victims of terrorism reflects the government’s commitment to addressing the needs of its citizens. It also highlights the government’s continuous work to finalize all pension-related matters, leaving no one behind. The disbursement of these pension batches before Eid al-Fitr ensures that these veterans and their families can celebrate the holiday with the financial stability they deserve.

By completing the pension process for these veterans and victims of terrorism, the government is taking significant steps to close an important chapter in Iraq’s history. This not only fulfills its obligations but also demonstrates the government’s ongoing support for its citizens, particularly those who have served the country with honor.
