Baghdad – Prime Minister Al-Sudani’s meeting with Kurdistan Islamic Union on Tuesday marked an important step toward strengthening Iraq’s national unity. During the meeting, Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani welcomed a delegation from the Kurdistan Islamic Union Parliamentary Bloc. They discussed several crucial topics, including national concerns, government service programs, and ongoing economic progress. According to the Prime Minister’s Media Office, Al-Sudani reaffirmed the government’s strong dedication to fulfilling citizens’ aspirations. Moreover, he stressed the urgent need to address public demands across all Iraqi regions, while respecting legal and constitutional frameworks.

In addition, the discussions highlighted the importance of solving the Kurdistan Regional Government’s financial obligations. These financial matters must align strictly with the Federal Budget Law and rulings by the Federal Supreme Court. Furthermore, Prime Minister Al-Sudani’s meeting with Kurdistan Islamic Union emphasized the critical need to pass the long-awaited Oil and Gas Law. This law, officials believe, will play a vital role in Iraq’s economic future and resource management.

Members of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Bloc praised recent improvements in security and societal stability. They also recognized a remarkable economic and urban revival taking place across Iraq. The delegation commended the government’s visible reforms and the enhanced delivery of public services. In addition, they highlighted how these reforms positively impact the daily lives of citizens nationwide. The meeting clearly demonstrated ongoing cooperation between Baghdad and the Kurdistan region. Both sides agreed that unity and constitutional dialogue remain essential for Iraq’s sustainable future.

Looking ahead, Prime Minister Al-Sudani’s meeting with Kurdistan Islamic Union reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to open dialogue. The administration plans to continue reforms that address financial, security, and economic challenges facing the country. The meeting also underscored a shared vision of achieving long-term growth and stability in Iraq. Ultimately, this gathering signals renewed hope for stronger cooperation between Iraq’s central government and regional authorities. Both parties aim to foster peace and improve services for all Iraqis in the coming years.
