President Rashid Honors Fayli Kurds, Stresses Their Role in Iraq’s Future

President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid emphasized the importance of recognizing the Fayli Kurds as an integral and essential part of Iraq. He stressed the need to ensure the protection of their legitimate rights.

In a message on social media, Rashid honored the memory of the martyrs on Fayli Martyr’s Day, paying tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s freedom. He highlighted the significant historical role of the Fayli Kurds and their resistance against the oppressive regime, particularly during the forced deportations.

Rashid reiterated that the Fayli Kurds are a core part of Iraq’s fabric, urging efforts to guarantee their rightful participation in political life, contributing to Iraq’s progress while safeguarding against the return of authoritarian rule.
