PM Al-Sudani and Iranian President Discuss Bilateral Cooperation on Eid

Baghdad, Iraq – Prime Minister Muhammed S. Al-Sudani received a phone call from the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, to exchange Eid al-Fitr greetings.

During their conversation, both leaders highlighted the importance of collaboration among Islamic nations in addressing shared challenges and risks to ensure the security and stability of all countries in the region.

Prime Minister Al-Sudani expressed Iraq’s firm rejection of any threats faced by Iran and reiterated Iraq’s commitment to supporting Iran’s security and stability.

The two leaders also discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors to serve the interests of both nations and their peoples.
