President Rashid and Syrian Foreign Minister Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations

On Saturday, President Abdul Latif G. Rashid met with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani to discuss the strengthening of ties between their two nations.

According to a statement from the President’s Office, the meeting took place at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, also in attendance.

The statement further mentioned that the discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations and addressing the ongoing developments in the region.
