PM Mohammed Shia al-Sudani Receives Invitation to Attend Conference in Paris

Baghdad, Iraq- On Wednesday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received an official invitation to attend a conference organized by the Arab World Institute in Paris later this year. The invitation was extended during a meeting with Jack Lang, the President of the Arab World Institute, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening the relationship between Iraqi cultural institutions and the Arab World Institute, with a focus on fostering cultural dialogue between Iraq and France.

An agreement was reached to form a joint committee, which will begin its work next week. The committee’s mission will be to organize Iraqi cultural activities under the supervision of the Arab World Institute, with the goal of enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in cultural fields.

Jack Lang praised Prime Minister al-Sudani for his clear support of the institute and its initiatives, and extended the invitation for the Prime Minister to attend the upcoming conference in Paris.
