Tehran, Iran – Iraq’s Parliament Speaker, Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, arrived in Tehran on Sunday for an official visit. He was welcomed at Mehrabad Airport by the Deputy Speaker of the Iranian Shura Council, Haji Babaei.
The visit will begin with a bilateral meeting on Monday between al-Mashhadani and Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Shura Council. The discussions are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and addressing key regional issues.
