Baghdad, Iraq – Iraq’s Federal Foreign Minister, Fuad Hussein, arrived in the Kurdistan Region to participate in the Newroz festivities, marking the Kurdish New Year and the arrival of spring. Upon landing at Erbil International Airport, Minister Hussein and his accompanying delegation were warmly welcomed by the Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Department of Foreign Relations and his deputy.
In a show of hospitality and unity, the Head of the Foreign Relations Department spoke on behalf of the Prime Minister, expressing gratitude for the Iraqi Federal Government’s participation in the annual Newroz celebrations. He said, “Your participation in the Newroz and Kurdish New Year festivities alongside the people of Kurdistan is deeply appreciated. We hope you enjoy your time in the Kurdistan Region.”
