“This event is a clear indication of Iraq’s stability in both security and politics,” said Nadhim Al-Shabli, an Iraqi and Arab MP. “Choosing Baghdad for this session sends a powerful message to the world and the region, showing that Iraq has overcome its challenges and is now firmly positioned to support key issues, especially the Palestinian cause.”
Arab MPs also expressed their appreciation for Iraq’s hospitality and the progress made in the country. Jordanian MP Atallah Al-Hnaiti praised Baghdad’s urban renaissance and security improvements, calling it “one of the most comfortable and safe capitals.” His colleague, Mujhim Al-Suqour, emphasized that holding this significant event in Baghdad underscores Iraq’s return to the Arab stage and its growing role in joint Arab initiatives.
