Food Ration Card Update Extended in Baghdad

Food ration card update extended in Baghdad to support citizens completing necessary documentation. The Ministry of Trade announced the decision to help more families benefit from the system. Additionally, the ministry halted update operations in four provinces to manage the process efficiently.

According to the Ministry of Trade, the provinces where updates stopped are Maysan, Diwaniyah, Diyala, and Anbar. Officials clarified that the update extension in Baghdad will give residents extra time. They stressed that updating the food ration card remains crucial for receiving future food allocations.

Food ration card update extended in Baghdad as part of a broader national strategy. Director General of Planning and Follow-up, Talib Hassan, confirmed the ministry’s plans. He said more provinces would soon start the update and automation process. This move aims to modernize the food ration system across the entire country.

Moreover, the ministry urged citizens to act quickly and finish their updates within the given timeframe. They warned that failure to update records might result in suspension of ration supplies. Officials emphasized that cooperation from the public will guarantee a smoother, faster transition to the new system.

In parallel, the ministry continues preparing new technical measures to support the digitization effort. Teams are working closely with local authorities to simplify procedures for citizens. By doing so, they aim to avoid overcrowding at updating centers and ensure equal service to all families.

Food ration card update extended in Baghdad demonstrates the government’s commitment to improving essential services. Officials believe that a fully updated system will lead to better distribution and transparency. They also noted that the modernization project will reduce fraud and eliminate duplicate records.

Finally, ministry representatives assured that this step marks only the beginning of bigger improvements. They promised to expand digital services to include delivery tracking and inventory management for food supplies. Citizens who complete their updates on time will benefit from faster, more reliable services in the near future.
