Entry Visas for Stranded Iraqis Approved After Bilateral Agreement

Baghdad – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has successfully secured entry visas for stranded Iraqis in Turkey. The new agreement between Iraq and Turkey was finalized on Monday. This decision ends days of difficulty for Iraqi travelers unable to enter Turkish territory.

The Foreign Ministry made an official announcement. It confirmed that discussions with Turkish authorities had resolved the situation. These talks aimed to help Iraqis who had faced serious entry challenges at Turkish borders.

In addition, the ministry emphasized its continuing commitment to Iraqi citizens living or traveling abroad. It explained that helping Iraqis outside the country remains a top priority. These efforts included active engagement with officials in Turkey to resolve travel barriers.

Moreover, this agreement followed consistent diplomatic coordination between both nations. Iraq’s diplomats remained in close contact with Turkish authorities throughout the negotiation process. The resolution came through mutual cooperation and shared concern for travelers’ welfare.

Iraqi officials stressed that this success reflects their dedication to protecting citizens’ interests. The ministry’s missions abroad continue to play a vital role in resolving such matters.

The ministry stated it will continue to monitor the conditions of citizens abroad. It also pledged to offer full support whenever needed. Such actions reaffirm the ministry’s focus on practical solutions and responsive diplomacy.

Iraqis previously stranded at Turkish borders can now enter legally and safely. Turkish officials have agreed to grant them the necessary documentation. Travelers should now experience fewer delays and less confusion.

The recent agreement marks another step forward in regional cooperation. It also strengthens diplomatic ties between Iraq and Turkey. More importantly, it ensures the protection and dignity of Iraqi travelers.

Consequently, entry visas for stranded Iraqis will now be processed without the previous obstacles. This move will ease many personal and logistical challenges for citizens. The ministry confirmed it will continue offering updates and guidance.

The quick diplomatic response has prevented further escalation. It also demonstrates how international collaboration can solve real-life issues efficiently.
