Ali Al-Zaidi Appoints New Advisor as Government Team Takes Shape

Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi has continued building his administration through a series of new appointments within the Prime Minister’s Office.

The latest Ali Al-Zaidi government appointments include the selection of Azhar Hussein Saleh as advisor for administrative and technical affairs. The move comes as the new government works to establish its leadership team and define its policy priorities.

According to informed sources, Saleh previously served as head of the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate. Additionally, he held the position of undersecretary at the Ministry of Planning.

Officials view the appointment as part of broader efforts to strengthen administrative performance and improve government operations. Furthermore, Saleh brings extensive experience in planning, engineering, and public administration.

The Ali Al-Zaidi government appointments process has also extended to several other senior positions. Sources indicated that the prime minister approved additional staffing changes within his office.

Meanwhile, authorities appointed a new government spokesman. At the same time, officials selected a new protocol director to oversee official engagements and diplomatic events.

In addition, the government nominated a candidate to lead the Prime Minister’s media office. However, officials have not yet released further details regarding the nominee.

These appointments form part of the ongoing effort to organize the new administration following the formation of the government. Therefore, political observers expect additional announcements in the coming weeks.

The Ali Al-Zaidi government’s appointments strategy aims to establish a functional executive team capable of implementing the government’s agenda. Moreover, the appointments reflect efforts to place experienced figures in key advisory and administrative roles.

As the government begins its work, attention will focus on how the new team manages economic reforms, public services, and administrative challenges. Consequently, future appointments could play an important role in shaping policy implementation.

The Ali Al-Zaidi government appointments process is expected to continue as the prime minister finalizes the structure of his office and broader government institutions.
