President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid emphasized Iraq’s growing role in addressing regional and global issues, stating that the Baghdad International Dialogue provides a platform for increased understanding and cooperation amongst nations, particularly given the current challenges facing the world.

Prime Minister Muhammed Shia Al-Sudani highlighted the significance of the dialogue as an annual event that showcases Iraq’s central role in facilitating regional discussions. He noted the gathering of prominent thinkers and decision-makers from around the globe as a key strength.

Echoing these sentiments, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, described the dialogue as a valuable opportunity for global leaders to convene and address critical issues. He expressed his satisfaction with Iraq serving as the host nation for such an important event.

The Seventh Baghdad International Dialogue is expected to draw a diverse group of political, economic, and academic figures from within Iraq and internationally.
