Digital Monitoring Enhances Education Exams

The Ministry of Education announced full readiness to conduct the third-grade intermediate exams nationwide. For the first time, it will use digital monitoring in exams across all education directorates. This system includes surveillance cameras to track exam progress continuously.

Spokesperson Kareem Al-Sayyid confirmed that all preparations are complete. The Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namos Al-Jubouri, held several meetings. These meetings resulted in important recommendations to raise readiness levels and prepare exam halls.

More than 665,000 students will attend exams in over 5,200 centers spread across the country. The minister stressed the importance of providing all necessary supplies. Cooling systems and close coordination with the Electricity and Interior ministries are a priority. These measures ensure proper conditions inside exam rooms.

This year’s exams will feature new digital systems designed to regulate exam procedures. The ministry linked cameras in all directorates directly to its headquarters. This setup allows officials to monitor exams moment by moment, especially in the first hours.

The exams will start promptly at 7 a.m. Baghdad time, which is the standard time across Iraq. The Ministry expects the exam process to run smoothly. Previous years showed that intermediate students usually remain more focused. In contrast, primary students often face difficulties since it is their first exam experience.

Overall, the ministry’s introduction of digital monitoring in exams aims to enhance transparency and control. Officials believe this step will help secure fair and organized exam environments. This innovation marks a significant improvement in the education system.
