Fallujah Water Project Reaches 84% Completion, Transforming Access for 300,000 Residents

Baghdad – The Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities confirmed major progress in the Fallujah water project. Officials reported that the project now reached over 84 percent completion. This achievement marks a major step toward final delivery.

Workers continue pushing forward on the site. They recently received the largest shipment of ductile pipes for the main transport lines. These pipes will support the entire water distribution system across Fallujah and nearby areas.

The water project progress will directly improve the lives of more than 300,000 residents. This new system will deliver clean water to the center of Fallujah and surrounding villages. It will produce 4,000 cubic meters of water per hour under its current design.

The project spreads across 25 dunams of land in Anbar Province. Crews have developed several vital sections, including the main station, water intake point, and a storage reservoir. Each component plays a key role in the full operation.

Workers also built areas for power generation, chemical treatment, and filtration systems. The team constructed four sedimentation basins to clean the water before distribution. Buildings for engineers, operators, and administrators now support daily operations and maintenance.

The water project progress continues to bring hope and stability to the region. It will improve health standards and secure water access for thousands of families. Local leaders believe it sets the foundation for long-term public service improvements.

With strong logistics and nonstop effort, the team keeps advancing the water project progress. Officials expect full completion soon, and communities look forward to the results.
