Deputy Speaker Sends Eid Al-Fitr Greetings, Calls for Unity and Tolerance

Baghdad, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandlawi, Mohsen Al-Mandlawi, extended his heartfelt Eid al-Fitr congratulations to the people of Iraq and the broader Arab and Islamic world. He emphasized that the holiday should serve as a time to promote love, tolerance, and unity.

In a statement, Al-Mandlawi expressed warm wishes to the Iraqi people and all Arab and Islamic nations, praying for the occasion to bring blessings, prosperity, and goodness to all. He highlighted the importance of using the holiday as an opportunity to strengthen the values of brotherhood, solidarity, and mutual support across the Islamic world.

Al-Mandlawi also stressed the importance of unity in addressing the ongoing challenges faced by Islamic nations. He called for a collective stance to confront the injustices affecting peoples in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria, particularly in the face of continued aggression. He urged a unified Islamic response to these challenges in honor of the sacrifices being made.

The statement concluded with a prayer for the continued safety of Iraq and its people, for peace and stability to prevail across the region, and for mercy on the nation’s martyrs, wishing them eternal rest in paradise.
