Mohsen Al-Mandlawi Stresses Activation of Oversight Role to Ensure Completion of Service Projects

Baghdad, Iraq- On Tuesday, First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandlawi, emphasized the need to activate the oversight role to ensure the successful completion of various service projects in Baghdad.

The media office of Al-Mandlawi reported that the deputy speaker met with several members of the Baghdad Provincial Council at his residence to address the challenges faced in the implementation of key service projects. The meeting focused on finding ways to enhance coordination between the legislative authority and the Provincial Council to improve the overall condition of the capital in all aspects.

Al-Mandlawi stressed the importance of using dialogue and understanding to resolve any differences within the council, urging members to avoid political disputes that could negatively impact the council’s work. He called for continued coordination and communication with the Council of Representatives to overcome obstacles in implementing vital projects, particularly those in infrastructure, health, education, transportation, and the development of the water and electricity sectors.

Furthermore, Al-Mandlawi highlighted the need to align the ongoing projects with the growing demands of the capital’s residents. He underscored the importance of activating the supervisory role to ensure that projects are completed according to the required quality standards and addressing any delays or shortcomings that may affect citizens’ daily lives.

Al-Mandlawi concluded by emphasizing that the stability of the provincial council and the solidarity of its members are essential for improving the service sector in Baghdad. He stressed that the interests of the capital and its residents should always be prioritized above all other considerations.
