Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has directed the completion of several strategic projects in Nineveh, aiming to boost the region’s development. During a meeting on Sunday with Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Ahmed al-Dakhil, al-Sudani reviewed the conditions of the governorate, focusing on key service, economic, and social issues.
In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s media office, it was confirmed that al-Sudani emphasized the need to expedite the completion of major projects in Nineveh. These include the reconstruction of the Old City in Mosul, the development of sports stadiums, and the completion of Nineveh International Airport. He stressed the importance of meeting all specified timeframes for these vital projects.
Al-Sudani also praised the ongoing efforts of the Nineveh Governor in pushing forward the region’s reconstruction. He called for a united approach to ensure the swift completion of service and development projects that align with the needs and aspirations of Nineveh’s people. The Prime Minister reiterated that collaboration and teamwork will be essential in accelerating the region’s rebuilding process.
