Iraq’s President Invited to International Ocean Summit in France

Baghdad – President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid has received a formal invitation to attend the upcoming Nice Ocean Summit, delivered on behalf of the French President. The invitation was presented during a meeting at Baghdad Palace with the French Ambassador to Iraq, who also conveyed the French President’s personal greetings.

During their conversation, President Rashid emphasized the value of enhancing ties between the two nations and highlighted the importance of continued cooperation to benefit both peoples. He extended his gratitude for the invitation and expressed optimism about the summit’s potential to deliver meaningful environmental and economic progress for the global community.

The French Ambassador reaffirmed his country’s commitment to supporting Iraq’s efforts in maintaining security and stability, while also commending Iraq’s role in promoting peace across the region.
