Baghdad – Iraq’s oil exports to the United States saw a modest increase last week, according to the latest data. The U.S. imported an average of 170,000 barrels per day from Iraq, up by 34,000 barrels compared to the previous week, when the export volume was 136,000 barrels per day.
Overall, U.S. crude oil imports from the top ten oil-exporting countries averaged around 4.83 million barrels per day, which is a decline of 255,000 barrels from the previous week’s 5.08 million barrels per day. Canada remains the leading supplier to the U.S., with imports of 3.25 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico and Saudi Arabia with 381,000 and 298,000 barrels per day, respectively.
Other countries contributing to U.S. oil imports include Ecuador, Colombia, Nigeria, Venezuela, Libya, and Brazil, with varying daily import levels.
