Baghdad – President of the Republic of Iraq, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, highlighted the importance of Iraq hosting the upcoming Arab League Summit. He emphasized that this event presents a crucial opportunity to tackle regional challenges with a unified Arab approach.
During a meeting at Baghdad Palace, President Rashid met with Lebanese Minister of Finance Yassine Jaber and Minister of Energy and Water Joseph Al-Sikha. The discussion, as reported by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), centered on regional concerns and cooperation between Iraq and Lebanon.
At the start of the meeting, the Lebanese delegation extended warm greetings from President Joseph Aoun of Lebanon. In return, President Rashid expressed his best wishes for Lebanon’s continued growth and stability.
