Iraq Welcomes Historic Peace Treaty Between Azerbaijan and Armenia

Baghdad, Iraq – Iraq’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) expressed its strong support for the historic peace treaty signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia. In a statement, MOFA congratulated both nations on reaching a significant milestone in their efforts to secure peace.

The statement highlighted Iraq’s approval of the treaty and its potential to bring positive change to the region. “The Republic of Iraq expresses its welcome to the conclusion of a historic peace treaty between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia,” the ministry said.
