Iraq Oil Comeback Sends Gulf Exports Roaring Back

Iraq’s oil rebound gained momentum as Gulf crude shipments recovered across major regional producers. Market trackers recorded stronger export flows after political tensions eased around key shipping routes. Therefore, traders saw more barrels return to global energy markets. The recovery also helped calm fears over supply disruptions.

Iraq posted one of the sharpest improvements among Gulf producers. Its crude exports climbed to around 800,000 barrels per day. Earlier, shipments had fallen to about 260,000 barrels per day. As a result, Iraq regained an important share of regional oil flows.

Meanwhile, Kuwait also restored stronger export activity. Its shipments reached around 800,000 barrels per day, matching Iraq’s renewed pace. In addition, Kuwait raised its production capacity to about 1.65 million barrels per day. This move strengthened its position during the broader Gulf recovery.

Iran also increased its crude exports after pressure on regional shipping eased. Its shipments rose sharply and reached about 640,000 barrels per day. Moreover, the improvement showed how quickly energy flows can react to diplomacy. However, markets still watched political risks across the region closely.

The United Arab Emirates led the wider export rebound. Abu Dhabi pushed shipments to a record level of about 3.8 million barrels per day. Furthermore, the country used a flexible production policy to expand output quickly. Its energy strategy also helped it move more crude toward buyers.

In addition, the UAE relied on alternative pipeline routes. These routes helped exporters avoid pressure around the Strait of Hormuz. ADNOC also cleared large floating storage volumes from the market. Consequently, millions of extra barrels moved into global supply channels.

Saudi Arabia also maintained its strong role in the market. The kingdom lifted crude flows to about 4.52 million barrels per day. Therefore, Saudi exports remained the largest among the main Gulf producers. Its steady position helped support regional export strength.

Overall, Gulf oil producers added more than three million barrels per day in exports. Their combined shipments passed ten million barrels per day during the rebound. Iraq’s oil rebound became a major part of this wider recovery. It also highlighted Iraq’s importance in regional energy trade.

However, the recovery still depends on stable shipping routes and calmer politics. Any new tension could disrupt cargo movements again. Still, the latest export gains show strong regional capacity. Iraq’s oil rebound also gives Baghdad more room to support oil revenue.

Energy markets will now watch whether these flows continue. Buyers may welcome the extra supply after earlier concerns. At the same time, producers will try to protect export gains. For Iraq, higher shipments could strengthen public finances and investor confidence.
