Health Insurance Numbers for All Beneficiaries

The Health Insurance Authority has confirmed registering 450,000 individuals from the social welfare network. This group is part of the third phase of the national healthcare support rollout. As part of ongoing expansion, the authority introduced a digital platform to serve individuals with disabilities.

Ali Ahmed Ubaid, Director of the Health Insurance Authority, shared the update during a press conference. He explained that registration procedures target vulnerable groups, including those with disabilities. The goal is to simplify access and improve service efficiency.

To accelerate the process, the authority will handle registration for all beneficiaries. These 450,000 people, along with their families, qualify under social welfare programs. The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has provided the official list of names.

Additionally, the authority plans to enroll people with disabilities through a dedicated online platform. Once registered, each person will receive a health insurance number. This number grants them access to health services across the country.

To ease the collection of documents, the authority has opened 60 service points. These locations include the main offices of the Ministry of Labor and the Health Insurance Authority. Also, private healthcare providers working with the authority will assist with document distribution.

All service points will issue insurance booklets to eligible individuals. The Health Insurance Authority aims to make health coverage accessible and equitable for all citizens. The system ensures that no one gets left behind.

Importantly, this approach reflects the authority’s commitment to fairness and inclusion. Through direct coordination with other ministries, it guarantees prompt service. The use of technology helps eliminate delays and long wait times.

The health insurance numbers for all beneficiaries represent a major step forward. With consistent planning, the authority seeks to deliver high-quality care. By expanding coverage, health insurance numbers for all beneficiaries will become the key to accessible healthcare for all.
