Bloom Village Launches Iraq’s First Eco-City with Renewable Energy Focus

Iraq eco city project Bloom Village has officially started construction, marking a bold move toward sustainable urban development in the country.

The eco-friendly city, situated near the Dora-Yusufiya highway south of Baghdad, aims to create a modern and green living space. Developed by Al-Jidar Group for Real Estate and Industrial Investments, the project sets a new standard for urban planning in Iraq.

Unlike traditional developments, Bloom Village places nature and sustainability at its core. The city will include large green spaces and thousands of mature trees to help filter pollution and improve air quality. These elements support healthier lifestyles for future residents.

Moreover, the entire project will rely on clean solar energy. Solar panels will power homes, service facilities, and all recreational centers in the city. This renewable setup minimizes carbon emissions and cuts dependence on fossil fuels.

According to the developers, Iraq eco city project Bloom Village represents a “qualitative leap” for the country. It reflects Iraq’s readiness to join the global shift toward clean, low-carbon infrastructure.

The company also hopes this initiative will inspire similar eco-friendly investments. As environmental awareness increases worldwide, the developers believe Iraq should not lag behind in adopting these modern solutions.

Transitioning to green construction could have major long-term benefits. It not only reduces pollution but also encourages energy efficiency and smarter land use. Bloom Village, therefore, may become a model for other Iraqi cities.

In fact, this project may shift investor focus from short-term profits to sustainable development goals. It introduces a new vision that balances economic progress with environmental responsibility.

With Bloom Village underway, Iraq eco city project development now has a working example to follow. The coming years may see more builders prioritize green designs, especially if Bloom Village proves successful.

As the construction continues, residents and planners alike will closely watch its progress. Bloom Village may not only change lives but also reshape Iraq’s urban future.
