Iraqi Club Zakho Leads in Gulf Champions League 2025-2026

The Gulf Champions League 2025-2026 is set to feature Zakho FC as Iraq’s representative. The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation revealed the list of participating teams on Monday. This exciting announcement highlights the growing importance of this regional tournament.

Eight clubs will battle for glory in the Gulf Champions League 2025-2026. Each club earned its spot through nomination by their national football federations. Alongside Zakho FC, teams include Al-Ain FC from the UAE, Sitra Club from Bahrain, and Al-Shabab FC from Saudi Arabia. The list also features Al-Nahda Club from Oman, Al-Rayyan SC from Qatar, Tadhamon Hadramaut from Yemen, and Al-Qadsia SC from Kuwait.

The Federation emphasized that the Gulf Champions League 2025-2026 aims to strengthen football competition in the Gulf region.
