Iraq and Turkey Unite in Condemning Israeli Airspace Violations

Baghdad – Israeli airspace violations drew sharp criticism from Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani during a key phone call. Speaking with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Al-Sudani described Israel’s actions as a direct violation of Iraq’s sovereignty. He also emphasized that such actions breach international law.

The conversation took place amid rising tensions across the Middle East. Both leaders agreed on the urgent need to strengthen regional security and avoid escalation. They specifically discussed the recent Israeli strike on Iran, which they viewed as provocative and destabilizing.

Additionally, both leaders called for Islamic nations to present a united front. They stressed that unity is essential in resisting actions that threaten regional peace. Al-Sudani highlighted that any Israeli airspace violations must not go unanswered by the international community.

Moreover, the Iraqi leader voiced strong support for an upcoming meeting of foreign ministers from Islamic countries. Scheduled to take place in Istanbul, the summit will address the growing threats to regional stability. According to Al-Sudani, this gathering is crucial for forming a collective diplomatic response.

In turn, Erdogan reaffirmed his support for Iraq’s territorial integrity. He expressed his full backing of Baghdad’s efforts to protect national sovereignty. Furthermore, Erdogan emphasized Turkey’s commitment to helping Iraq avoid entanglement in broader regional conflicts.

At the same time, both sides issued a joint condemnation of Israel’s recent strike. They warned that further aggression could ignite wider instability across neighboring nations. That, they agreed, must be prevented through coordinated action and international pressure.

In conclusion, the leaders urged responsible global powers to take a firm stance. They called for immediate dialogue to prevent further Israeli airspace violations and rising tensions. Their message was clear: defending sovereignty must remain a top priority.

This developing situation continues to draw international attention. Regional alliances now appear to be solidifying in response to growing security threats.
