Al-Sudani and Al-Mutlaq Meet to Advance Iraq’s Development Goals

Baghdad — Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani met with former Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq on Sunday. The meeting focused on the progress of the government’s development and reform plans. It marked another step in ongoing efforts to strengthen Iraq’s political and economic landscape.

The two officials held their discussion in Baghdad. Their conversation covered several crucial issues facing the country. Topics included current security challenges, political tensions, and the push for economic stability. They both emphasized the urgent need for cooperation among political forces.

Al-Sudani outlined his administration’s vision for Iraq’s future. He highlighted the government’s drive to implement broad development and reform plans. These plans aim to rebuild infrastructure, upgrade public services, and create new job opportunities for citizens.

Al-Mutlaq expressed support for these goals. He agreed that Iraq needs a unified strategy to overcome its many challenges. He also stressed the value of continued dialogue among national leaders.

Both parties addressed the difficulties hindering economic recovery. They discussed how political unity could accelerate the pace of reconstruction. In particular, they pointed to the need for swift action in cities struggling with outdated infrastructure.

The conversation also touched on rising public demands. Citizens are calling for better services, more employment, and transparent governance. In response, the leaders agreed that development and reform plans must remain a top priority.

Al-Sudani reaffirmed his government’s commitment to national progress. He said the administration would keep pushing forward despite obstacles. He also called on all parties to join forces for Iraq’s long-term benefit.

By the end of the meeting, both leaders shared a clear message. Iraq’s future depends on continued focus on development and reform plans. This shared goal, they noted, is key to national stability and prosperity.
