PM Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani Receives Kuwaiti Envoy Mohammed Abdullah Abu Al-Hassan

Baghdad, Iraq- On Tuesday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received Mohammed Abdullah Abu Al-Hassan, the envoy of the Emir of the State of Kuwait, in the presence of the Kuwaiti ambassador to Iraq. During the meeting, the two sides discussed enhancing and developing bilateral relations between Iraq and Kuwait.

The Kuwaiti envoy conveyed the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s greetings to Prime Minister Al-Sudani and expressed Kuwait’s satisfaction with Iraq’s approach in resolving common issues between the two countries.

The discussions highlighted the importance of continuing dialogue as the best means of resolving remaining files. It was agreed that the joint technical committees will soon meet to address these issues, and the upcoming stage will see more bilateral dialogues and discussions between the two nations to foster stronger ties.
