Iraq Condemns Netanyahu’s Provocative Remarks on Palestinian State in Saudi Arabia

Baghdad, Iraq- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) strongly condemned and denounced the provocative statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the potential establishment of a Palestinian state on the lands of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement, the ministry expressed its categorical rejection of Netanyahu’s remarks, calling them a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and an affront to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. The ministry further highlighted that such statements contravene international law and the United Nations Charter.

Iraq reaffirmed its unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia, emphasizing its firm stance in supporting the security, stability, and sovereignty of all states. The ministry reiterated that any infringement upon the national sovereignty of any country is wholly unacceptable, underscoring Iraq’s commitment to defending the integrity of nations and their territorial rights.
