PM Al-Sudani Highlights Judiciary’s Importance in Protecting Citizens’ Rights

Baghdad, Iraq- Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani praised the vital role played by the Supreme Judicial Council and its decisions in upholding the rule of law and safeguarding the interests of the citizens.

In a meeting with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faeq Zidane, the two leaders discussed a range of important national issues, focusing on the government’s approach to supporting the judiciary’s work and ensuring its independence. The conversation highlighted the ongoing cooperation between the executive and judicial branches, with a focus on overcoming challenges in the implementation of the government’s agenda.

The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the Supreme Judicial Council’s efforts, emphasizing that its actions in enforcing the law are crucial for maintaining the security and stability of the nation, as well as protecting the rights of the people.
