Arab League Confirms Arab Summit in Baghdad on May 17

Baghdad, Iraq- Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein announced today that the Arab League has confirmed the Arab Summit will take place in Baghdad on May 17. This announcement comes after a preparatory meeting for the summit held in the Iraqi capital.

During the meeting, Hussein stated that the Arab Summit would focus on key issues affecting the Arab world. He emphasized the broad participation expected from Arab kings and presidents, highlighting the importance of the gathering for regional cooperation.

The Iraqi government is currently preparing a comprehensive agenda to ensure that the summit addresses pressing matters and fosters productive discussions. This event will be a significant moment for Iraq, marking its role as a host for regional diplomacy.
