Baghdad, Iraq- Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has received an invitation to attend the upcoming International Peace Forum in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. The forum is scheduled to take place in December of this year.

Today, the Prime Minister’s office announced that al-Sudani spoke with Turkmenistan’s President, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, over the phone. During their conversation, both leaders emphasized strengthening the cooperation between their nations.

The two sides discussed various areas of potential growth, focusing on trade and economic relations. They also agreed on boosting investments and expanding energy collaboration. Al-Sudani and Berdimuhamedow specifically highlighted gas, oil products, and renewable energy as key areas for joint development.

The forum in Ashgabat will tackle several important global issues, including sustainable development and the future of international cooperation. It is expected to bring together leaders from around the world to discuss these pressing matters.
