Coordinated Hajj Travel for Iraqi Pilgrims Begins

The High Commission for Hajj and Umrah has announced the beginning of organized travel for Iraqi pilgrims. This year’s coordinated Hajj travel for Iraqi pilgrims includes both air and land options.

According to the commission, the first flight will depart for the holy lands soon. Pilgrims will fly into Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Airport in Medina. Flights will operate from six main airports across Iraq. These include Baghdad, Najaf, Basra, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, and Kirkuk.

Meanwhile, land travel for pilgrims will begin shortly after. The first groups will cross through the Arar border crossing. The commission has arranged for the use of modern, air-conditioned tourist buses. These buses will transport pilgrims from various provinces, including the Kurdistan Region.

To ensure smooth travel, all preparations have been finalized. Authorities completed both security and service plans. The goal is to support coordinated Hajj travel for Iraqi pilgrims without delays or disruptions.

Furthermore, the commission emphasized its collaboration with local and national partners. This cooperation helps maintain order and comfort for the travelers. Every part of the travel process has been designed to meet high safety and quality standards.

Officials confirmed that special services are ready at each departure point. Teams will guide pilgrims through check-in, boarding, and arrival procedures. These efforts aim to reduce confusion and wait times.

Importantly, the commission focused on equal service for all pilgrims. From the south to the north of Iraq, every region will receive the same level of care. Pilgrims from the Kurdistan Region will join the journey alongside others from across the country.

In summary, coordinated Hajj travel for Iraqi pilgrims reflects a national commitment. This year’s plan offers flexibility, comfort, and strong logistical support. The commission aims to deliver a successful and well-managed pilgrimage season.
