President Rashid Wishes the Kurdish Community of Iraq a Joyous Nowruz

Baghdad, Iraq – President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid extended his congratulations to all Iraqis, particularly the Kurdish community, on the occasion of Nowruz, urging political groups to work together to enhance national unity.

In a statement shared by the Iraqi News Agency, the President remarked, “On this joyful occasion of Nowruz, we offer our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Kurdish people and all the diverse communities of Iraq. We hope this meaningful celebration brings prosperity, blessings, and happiness to our nation, with joy filling every corner of the country.”

He further emphasized, “Nowruz represents a symbol of bravery, sacrifice, and resilience, marking the beginning of the Kurdish New Year.”

The statement continued, “As we come together to celebrate Nowruz, we reiterate our commitment to national unity. We call on all political parties to join efforts in reinforcing our democratic framework, safeguarding freedoms, upholding human rights, and supporting constitutional institutions across the legislative, judicial, and executive branches. This collective effort is essential for the progress and development of our country.”

The statement concluded with, “Happy Nowruz to you all, and to people worldwide. Wishing everyone a prosperous and joyful New Year.”
