Iraqi Ramadan 2026 Series Set to Captivate Audiences Across Genres

Iraqi Ramadan 2026 series are gaining a special place this year among dozens of Arab dramas competing for audience attention. About 10 productions across genres, from comedy and social drama to thriller and horror, will challenge viewers’ loyalties. These series include returning stars and fresh faces, ensuring a dynamic Ramadan lineup.

The lineup features works shown exclusively on the “MBC” network and “Shahid” digital platform, alongside titles aired on multiple Iraqi channels. This season promises high anticipation and engagement, with viewers eager for both suspenseful and socially resonant stories.

Among the most awaited is “Paradise 2”, also called “The Aunt”, a horror and suspense series directed by Muhannad Abu Khumra. Stars Hafez Laibi, Marwa Badran, Samar Muhammad, Ghaith Abbas, Maryam Kamal Al-Din, and Nour Hamid bring the story to life. Suleiman believed five years of peace had ended the horrors of the past, only to discover that nightmare still lurked in the shadows.

Action and thriller fans can follow “The Devil’s Throne”, written by Mohammed Khammas and directed by Murad Turk. The story follows a group of characters navigating family tensions, personal crises, and social upheavals. Alexander Alam, Saif Al Sharif, Sinan Al Azzawi, Nadine Al Fahad, Ali Jaber, and Nahi Mahdi lead the cast.

Comedy returns with “Sweet and Sour 7”, where Saadoun and his family face humorous new challenges. Written by Hussein Al-Najjar and directed by Osama Al-Sharqi, the show stars Ihsan Daadoush, Ali Jaber, Nariman Al-Sabouri, and Fawzia Hassan.

 “Hamdiya”, adapted from Qaddouri Al-Douri’s novel, explores a woman’s struggles following her mother’s death and her father’s remarriage. Omaima Jawad Al-Shakarji, Jawad Al-Shakarji, Ruwaida Shahin, and Yarim Al-Jazairi star in this moving story.

Other notable entries include “Sharara”, “My Name is Hassan”, “Al Maqam”, and “Nine Halal”, spanning human drama and comedy. Suspense and popular drama are represented by “Qaysariya” and “Bullet Season”, featuring neighborhood stories, social justice, and humanitarian themes.

Overall, the Iraqi Ramadan 2026 series lineup reflects diverse storytelling and high production value. Fans can expect premieres across TV channels and digital platforms, with exact schedules typically announced just before Ramadan.

The variety and quality of the Iraqi Ramadan 2026 series make this year one of the most exciting in recent memory, ensuring audiences remain engaged and entertained throughout the holy month.
