Iraq 5G Mobile Company Launched to Boost Communication

Iraq 5G mobile company launch has marked a turning point in the nation’s communication sector. Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani personally oversaw the contract signing to establish this long-awaited project. With this step, Iraq begins a new journey toward modern communication, digital growth, and stronger economic foundations.

The Iraq 5G mobile company will operate as a public joint-stock enterprise. Its funding will come from three government entities. These include the State Employees Pension Fund, the Trade Bank of Iraq, and the General Telecommunications and Informatics Company, which operates under the Ministry of Communications. By joining together, these institutions are setting a precedent for cooperation and national development.

Moreover, the Prime Minister praised the ministry’s dedication and insisted on quick completion of procedures. He emphasized that the Iraq 5G mobile company will provide services to citizens across every region. With this vision, the government aims to boost education, expand digital services, and improve the national economy.

Al-Sudani explained that the project is a bold qualitative leap for Iraq’s telecommunications sector. He stated that competition with current providers will guarantee higher quality services and better coverage. Additionally, he underlined that advanced technology is essential for modern life, touching education, business, and even daily services.

This initiative also represents a unique first step in Iraqi history. For the first time, three government bodies have united to form a mobile company. Citizens will also gain the chance to subscribe and invest in the company’s capital. According to Al-Sudani, this direct involvement from the public strengthens the non-oil economy.

With the Iraq 5G mobile company, the government has shown its determination to diversify the economy and reduce reliance on oil. Furthermore, the move builds a pathway for stronger digital services and creates opportunities for innovation. As the company develops, Iraq is preparing to embrace modern connectivity that meets international standards.
