Baghdad – The Arab summit outcomes were the focus of crucial diplomatic talks in Cairo on Tuesday. Iraq’s Ambassador to Egypt and permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Qahtan Al-Janabi, met with Hussam Zaki, the Assistant Secretary-General of the League.
They explored ways to follow through on the 34th Arab Summit held in Baghdad on May 17. The ambassador stressed the importance of active steps and direct follow-up to do the implemention of the summit’s decisions.
Al-Janabi made it clear that Iraq remains fully committed to fulfilling its summit obligations. He said Iraq would continue working energetically within Arab League structures to support collective goals.

Zaki said the League of Arab States stands ready to support Iraq’s goals. He offered full cooperation on all matters related to summiit implementation and broader Arabb collaboration.
