Baghdad – To tap into the adventurous spirit of Generation Z in Iraq, the creative marketing agency Awkward Ads has partnered with Mountain Dew and Doritos for an exciting new campaign.
This campaign features a musical composition that reflects the bold identities of both Mountain Dew and Doritos. Iraqi rappers Khalifa OG and Armando crafted energetic songs that embody the essence of the two brands, while Neobyrd, also known as Wael Alaa, expertly merges the tracks into a dynamic mashup.
The commercial uses both Iraqi and Kurdish dialects to foster a sense of connection with the audience, resonating with the local culture and language.
Originally founded in Egypt and now operating out of Dubai, Awkward Ads is a marketing agency known for connecting businesses with consumers across the Middle East.
Mountain Dew and Doritos are both owned by PepsiCo.
